Maker Spotlight: The Crafty Archivist

Supporting other amazing, small, women-owned businesses is part of our mission at The Green Brick Boutique. We pride ourselves on carrying only high quality handmade jewelry by small women-owned businesses. 

We recently stumbled upon The Crafty Archivist on Instagram and fell in love with Sarah's midcentury modern inspired style. Located in Grand Rapids, MI, Sarah combines raw brass and reclaimed leather into beautiful, unique earrings.

When leather is used to make furniture, purses, and clothing, often it is cut and the scraps go unused and often make their way to landfills. More companies are saving these leather scraps and selling them to people like Sarah who can turn them into something new. She loves the imperfections in the leather and the surprise of what colors and textures she receives.
